The New Hampshire Lottery is the oldest in the contiguous United States. The Lottery began in 1963 after multiple attempts that spanned nearly a decade, but it was a true “better late than never” situation for New Hampshire, as the lottery has given nearly $3 billion to fund education initiatives across the state.
The New Hampshire Lottery is also one of the most progressive lotteries in the United States, offering iGaming and Sports Betting along with the traditional tickets that you would expect. There are also several casinos and racetracks in that state that fall under the governance of the NH Lottery Commission.
Players must be 18 and over in New Hampshire to play the lottery.
New Hampshire Lottery Games
For being such a small state, New Hampshire has anything but a small lottery. The NH Lottery offers Powerball, Mega Millions, the Tri-State Megabucks and Tri-State Gimme 5 (Maine, Vermont), and Lucky For Life as multi-state draw games.
There are also three other state-specific draw games, plus Fast Play games, scratch-offs, and iLottery. Casinos, racetracks, and sports betting round out the options for state lottery players. Online lottery tickets can ONLY be purchased through the NH Lottery website on desktop or mobile.
Lottery tickets are also available through third-party selling site Jackpocket.
