UConn Huskies secure a commitment from Silas Demary Jr. The team adds him to their 2025 recruiting class. Silas stands out as a guard from Georgia. Silas played his sophomore season with the Bulldogs. He averaged 13.5 points per game. He grabbed 3.9 rebounds and dished out 3.1 assists per game. His shooting dipped slightly from his freshman year. However, he became a deep threat. He shot over 37% from beyond the arc. Analysts took note. Isaac Trotter of 247Sports said, "The light flickered on for Silas in early February and only a few guards in the SEC played better than him."
At 6-foot-5 and 195 pounds, Silas shows both size and skill. His size makes him a strong defender. His ability to score challenges opponents.
