In a significant roster addition, Michigan State has secured forward Kaleb Glenn.
Glenn played at Florida Atlantic University, where he averaged 12.6 points per game. This stat shows his scoring power and his ability on the court.
Glenn began his collegiate career at the University of Louisville before moving to FAU. At FAU he led the Owls in scoring and grabbed 4.8 rebounds per game. In 35 games he shot 53.1%, showing his efficiency. Now at Michigan State, he has two years of eligibility to make his mark.
The Louisville native sharpened his skills at La Lumiere School in La Porte, Indiana, and earned a four-star rating. He was ranked as the 79th overall player in the 2023 recruiting class by On3 Industry Ranking. After entering the transfer portal, he drew more notice when rated the 32nd best power forward in On3’s Transfer Rankings.
Glenn is the first transfer commitment for head coach Tom Izzo this cycle. Michigan State has seen three players enter the transfer portal this offseason, including guard Tre Holloman and forward Xavier Booker.
As the Spartans rebuild, they welcome two talented four-star recruits from high school: Cam Ward and Jordan Scott. Ward is ranked as the 53rd overall player in the nation and Scott is listed as the 55th in the 2025 class.
Michigan State is also preparing for the departure of guard Jase Richardson, who intends to declare for the 2025 NBA Draft. Richardson was a key player, averaging 12.1 points per game and leading the team with a 41.2% three-point shooting rate. In an emotional Instagram post, he thanked his teammates and the Spartan community for the bonds they built.
