Dannen explains that Herbie Husker will become the new halfcourt logo at Pinnacle Bank Arena. He replaces the scripted “Huskers” design. This update starts in the 2025–26 season.
Excitement grows for Herbie Husker’s new role. Earlier this year, the mascot received a modern look at the spring football game under head coach Matt Rhule. Herbie now wears updated attire. He holds up a No. 1 signal instead of the old “OK” sign.
